clios nah, meganes have a turbo as do golfs and astras and focus's, but the DC5 will prob suprice all of them 8)

Advanced driving skillz can add at least 50+bhp to a car. Plus its so much cheaper.

I thought manufacturers always gave power out of the wheels :?
As where i work we calculate power from flywheel and subtract power loss through components leading to the wheels from info given, but the japs could do it differently

Yeah and I thought Tarmac would be a better surface to test power.
No traction on paper

Then how come they release the bhp figure instead of the ps/hp figure, im sure bhp is only used when talking about power at the wheels?

i think 220 ps is about 200bhp, the bigger numbers are what buyers see and it soon becomes '220 bhp at the wheels' by the time they reach the pub

ps is German. Basically it was just a different measurement of work done using a slightly smaller horse. Hence why PS measurement is slightly higher than BHP!!
