    Dyno Charts!!

I paid £300 but my ecu was already mapped for same mods minus the 3" exhaust on another car. I was very happy with the service and results/drive ability. They had just finished mapping a gallardo before mine went on the hub dyno. The dyno is in a controllers cell aswell for more consistent...

    Dyno Charts!!

I'm running a k100 They worked it out at around 257hp at fly. It did actually make another 8hp at the wheels that day but the dyno sets a correction factor to the figures as it was a cold day. (This is what I was told) this would of meant 265hp

    Lambda sensor 01

36531 PRB A01 That is the part number, make sure you get a denso not some cheap crap. They go for as little as £100 I paid £120 2 weeks ago. Honda rob your money and sell you a denso and the Honda specialists monopolise on this and sell them for £185

    3" exhaust sounds

Yeah I did wonder about the size of the silencers, bit on the small side. Was also considering a helmholtz resonator, they come standard on a s2000 and basically target a certain frequency of sound (the drone) and cancel it out by using the correct length pipe. It's a bit like blowing over a...

Hunting idle and exhaust change question

Sorted it (fingers crossed) Took the iacv off again and drilled out the screws on the electric motor part, that way you can spin the actual valve around whilst cleaning and lubing with wd40. There was a really sticky spot but now after cleaning and working it, it now moves freely. The only...

Hunting idle and exhaust change question

Hi I have just fitted rbc to my car and since then the idle has been irratic. It's ok when first starting but once warmed up after a few mins the idle goes up and down (1.5 rpm to 2.5rpm) which is very annoying in traffic, especially with a loud 3" exhaust. I have tried cleaning the iacv and...

    Trouble removing oem exhaust manifold

Only just seen this this, yeah I did it on my back, if it was on a ramp it would of been much easier lol.

    Trouble removing oem exhaust manifold

Right got the fricking thing off, what a ball ache Btw the manifold will come out through the bottom with the arb lowered and the engine mount removed but still requires a lot of jiggling about Now having fun trying to get one of the bolts in the rear engine mount, doesn't line up very well...

    Trouble removing oem exhaust manifold

Proper beastly bolt holding the manifold together I mean. I get what your saying about the 6 pointed socket.. I did smash a 16mm by it wasn't 6 pointed but it didn't have the purchase, I will this next.

    Trouble removing oem exhaust manifold

Can't get one of the bolts on the heat shield out either, rusted in. I have a dremel so could look at that later but this nut is pretty beastly, a proper grinder would probably be best however I don't think there's space. I don't remember any of my older Hondas having this much trouble just...

    Trouble removing oem exhaust manifold

You can't get to it, too high up. Unless you can unbolt stuff around it, will look tomorrow. So is that a no to taking the mnaifold of as one piece?
