The mighty E46 M3, shortlisted as one of my next car such a beautiful looking thing with 338bhp out of a 3.2 straight six can't beat it!
P.S Got to be a manual FTW!

ha.. seen this at tgm the other day, looks a right mess there.. loldave7368 said:never thought about selling mine, though it never stays the same long enough to get bored with it... :xgrin:
Agreed! ðŸ‘ðŸ»Lukeyboi89 said:good friend has a nice facelift e46 m3. they are very nice to drive, comfy, very fast to the point you dont realise how quick they are going.
but, its just not as fun as the teg period.... quicker yes, comfier yes, but not more fun or more importantly rare! (and extra running costs etc)
thrashing the teg on b roads at 9k, can not be beaten by the e46 at least.
Haha glad I got that spot on!Mark_teg said:Agreed! ðŸ‘ðŸ»
As with many cars the refinement takes away from the driving experience, though makes it a nicer place to be.
Mine is a facelift and manual - the teg has a nicer gearshift.
Thanks, already have it fitted! Was first modLukeyboi89 said:Haha glad I got that spot on!
FYI you can fit the gear knob from the later model m5 which is more weighty and improves the shift a bit. Google it. But still not as sweet as the tegs shift.
Op if you have oem shifter get th the tegiwa short shifter. Tightened the shift up so much and removes any play while being more precise. And obviously a a weighted knob if you don't have one. That will help transform It and you'll not want to get rid haha
I was very fond of the dc2, but I definitely wouldn't have another........could be blew away by a 5 door diesel on a due carriageway which is annoying. Light car and alive when on it but the rest of the time it was like any other hatchback.....an old hatchback. It became tiresome after multiple long drives....the shine wore off.....ok so perhaps its a bit like saying a inflatable dingy makes a shit surfboard but.............the fact remains.Jdm4life said:R33 gtr (bit old/heavy/complex, excrement interior)
Or
Evo viii mr (not keen on the rear window/roofline angles...clearly for rear headroom but.not very sleek looking, thirsty)
Or
Fd2 (too similar to dc2 ie fwd)
Or ???
Which one to get?
Haven't got a fornicateing clue.....getting frustrated and may just forget the bastard idea and buy something dull like the majority.
Told myself I want something 4wd for a change, still jdm, faster and more modern than the jdm dc2.....but maybe I should just get over it.
