Started the car this morning to a squeaky belt. Quick dab of WD40 on the back of the belt and it stopped. So hopefully not a pulley and just the belt :) Going to check the local motor factors tomorrow or order from eBay Monday.

Great guide, clear and concise.

So how big is a belt on one of those monster earth moving things!!!!!
Belts are easier to fit on them than the Teg, much more room to work on it (usually).

quick tip for anyone about to do this, just incase Mark's instruction was not clear enough, when he wrote

"pull the spanner towards the front of the car"

that means pull towards the headlight ie CLOCKWISE on the tensioner bolt

Thanks Mark for the guide, couldn't have done it without :)

It actually seems super easy. Can't wait to give this a bash this weekend. Had the belt sitting for long enough but rubbish weather is a curse here in the West of Scotland.

Not quite a quick job for me.
Soon as the wheel came off it threw it down. Then the ps fluid bottle bolt was seized. Then I managed to get the spanner jammed under the belt. I then got the belt stuck.
But an hour later all done no more squawking :)
