Repainted my brake calipers cos it's been 3 years since last time so the paint was coming off in places.

Before

Sanded down

Repainted using the Evo red paint, paint kit was bought from Caliper Caliper Specialists.

Not perfect but I didn't want the hassle of taking them off and spraying them (plus I am not good with spray cans)
Just need to add the Brembo stickers now

Also changed my rear Honda Badge

Old

New

Cursed, swore, damned the eyes of the bloke who last fitted an oil filter to my car.................

Filter was a poor fit to start. The seal was far too thick, probably put on dry and with far too much force. It took me, my dad (45 years a tech) and my brother (naval engineer) two hours to get off. Even when it started to move it fought through three good turns before it came off (^*%*^*&%*%&*^ was the word of the day. I bent two screw drivers and a bar. No amount of force or combination of soft or ratchet oil filter tools would touch it.
Admittedly honda prices do get my goat but for cheap stuff like an oil filter just go OEM FFS.

Yeah wasn't much fun. First we tried a flexi grip removal tool. Then we tried ratchet tools. Then we tried the old screw-driver trick.
Once they all failed we replaced the screwdriver with a bar only to start ripping the filter to bits.
Then there was only one way left which was to create a chip and tap it round mm at a time with a soft hammer.

Very lucky not to take the feed or cooler pipes with it given the location of the filter is a mare. Don't want to jinx it but no fluid loss as of yet.

All could have been avoided with a decent filter going in wet and leaving the guns at home...

Many things 😂 took my headlight out to change a bulb which turned out to the ballast. And the supporting bars were a bit corroded and had surface rust.

Finished

Also cut my headlights for a temporary shine 😂

Started sorting the little surface rust on crash barrier and behind the headlights.

Nearly finished got another coat tomo.

Also made my grille with an air intake going to make a proper scoop on it when I have time.

Fitted
