You's are all so far up ur dated teg's ass. The new ctr in base model will wipe the floor with the teg. Here we go it'll never be dated. Its six years old now. I have had hondas from crx to crx vtec to dc2 to ctr to dc5. Honda moves on and believe it whether you like it or not so does its cars.
And for the guy who said Honda wont make an all wheel drive car for a few limited models. They have already developed it. The new honda legend in japan was just given an award for the best awd system of the year in japan! I never said that it would be awd but i certainly hope it is.
Cool, you have owned all the cars I have. So you think the game moves on? So why is the CRX VTEC a much better car than its successor? Why does the DC2 get admiration from DC5 owners? Why do people but Lancia Delta Integrales and Escort Cosworths when the Focus RS is out? I'll tell you - some cars are more than the sum of its parts. Newer models are often the product of safety standards as much as passion for engineering so it's possible that a newer model can be less desirable than an older one - the game doesn't necessarily move on.
As for your AWD system in the Legend, it just won't fit into a DC5/EP3 chassis economically - this is why they've not done it for production (think - if they wanted to, they could and then go head to head against the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo/Subaru Impreza WRX) but AWD is not the market they're in at this price point. To develop an AWD system for the EP3/DC5 chassis would take a lot of expensive R&D/engineering, the fruits of which would not be enough to justify the outlay - hence it won't happen. Remember, Honda, Toyota and other large manufacturers make their money on selling volume cars, not niche models. Their best efforts on creating niche models are when they have very little to change from a standard model - and to change the furniture (i.e. roll bars, brakes, engines, etc.) is much cheaper than going for bespoke drivetrains or changing other apsects of sheet metal.
The new CTR might well wipe the floor with the current teg, but there'll be a new teg (may not bear that name but think of the concept rather than the details) that'll kill the new CTR - because Honda position their CTR below the ITR and they'd not sell any ITRs if what you say is true.
