Whats the best Type-R?

DC5 for me, loved my ep3 type r but the Teg! WOW! It's just so much more of a car, slip diff as standard, brembo brakes, recaro's etc love it!!!

iv driven an ep3 and dc2; and the dc2 feels more powerful even though it may be almost the same.. it has that extra UMPHH!

After Driving a few Type-R's the Teg is definetely my favourite so far. :twisted:

For me, lookwise...

DC5 is first!!!....


and might get flamed for this...but I'd take a DC5 over the NSX....I think the NSX looks really outdated.....


I also like the Mugen Civic Type R (UK one....yes i kno the one that looks like a spaceship!!!) ....

I also like the S2000 (2005 model, with factory front lip) ....


Excluding the NSX, in terms of handling....I think most Type Rs would provide good/ decent handling....maybe the latest Civic (Jap version) would be faster, but I don't think, for fast road driving, there would be a big difference between the Type Rs.......

I've had both DC2 and DC5. Sorry chaps, but IMHO the DC2 was better.

In fact I got the DC5 because I missed the DC2 so much, and it just never quite got there.
Evo had it right - 5stars for the DC2 and 4.5 for the DC5 "lost a little of the old cars magic"
