Cheer for the reply mate and the details much appreciated. I would be happy ifChewy said:Make sure you have at least more 1/2 tank of fuel on arrival, Not that much is going to be used, but you would be surprised how many people rock up with little fuel, I was told. haha.
You're in the same boat as me last year when I had my K100 installed, Only had a Tegiwa intake and Unsilenced B-pipe so was a little skeptical at the time but wanted to get it done and out of the way before I started throwing more parts at the engine...It was the best choice I made with the DC5.
I went with TDI North, I'm not one that cares about numbers etc, I just wanted to take it somewhere that has decent experience in all things K20*, I can't fault Paul or the service that was provided, So a great experience for me.
I think it took around 4 hours in the end.
Seeing as you have similar mods to mine at the time, here's the Dyno graph;
That jump at mid-range :xgrin:Chewy said:Make sure you have at least more 1/2 tank of fuel on arrival, Not that much is going to be used, but you would be surprised how many people rock up with little fuel, I was told. haha.

30bhp increase in the midrange transforms the car, It really does!Mike.A said:That jump at mid-range :xgrin:
I guess it gives a new meaning to VTEC kicking in. Where do people usually get the VTEC brought down too with a map?Chewy said:30bhp increase in the midrange transforms the car, It really does!
Just shows people it's not all about those top end numbers, haha.

Yes, You can choose when VTEC engages, However that doesn't mean it'll make the car any faster/make more power as such.cjh1981 said:RDT are quite a bit further than eurospect for me so will most likely go there. Can you choose within reason where vtec kick in?

Do a quick search on Google for reviews on RDT before you spend any money.Patch_teg said:How much does RDT charge for a map?
I have done and not found much other than will is good, should I be reading something different?Mebz said:Do a quick search on Google for reviews on RDT before you spend any money.
It's always hard to judge a company if you have never used them yourself (which I haven't), so take this with a pinch of salt.Patch_teg said:I have done and not found much other than will is good, should I be reading something different?
It's a k20a engine found in thousands upon thousands of cars with a few minor differences...Mike.A said:The other thing to consider with new people is the rareity of this car. I would rather go with someone with plenty of experience with the DC5. I've heard good things about Romain at Eurospec and Pedro at FL Performance. They've done plenty of cars on this forum it seems.
