Thats not true mate, i got the 225/45/17 RE070's for mine from a local tyre place, they had to order them but came next day, under £100 each FITTED so was a fair deal.

I have D2's aswell, and from goes in other DC5's and passengers im finding them to not be all that much stiffer than the stock suspension, they crash about a bit on pot holes and speed humps, but there not too bad overall... I run my damping reasonably stiff now aswell, about 16 clicks front...

Theres lots of jap brand suspension you could get imported but i would imagine noone has it and so cant help you with it. If you dont like the handling you could always get new springs for the D2's at different stiffness to sort out the issues you have.

They do make a DC5 one, but its not the same part as for a DC2 im sure. If yours is for a DC2 it wont fit id imagine.

mines been waxoyl'd, but it wasnt done straight away i did it when i bought it, its still fine underneath, so honestly if the car is good and theres no visible rusting, go for it.

mine are about 15 tclicks front, 18 clicks rear, but i think i need to do the rear stiffer still, as the rear is noticaly less stiff when driving.
